Unique Process
Unique Process
The production and process of our rare Liberica coffee beans is a scientific art that’s been supported by intense research, analysis and development to produce the world’s rarest and premium Liberica Coffee.
Ancient Coffee Estates
Our ancient coffee estates are located in a secluded and pristine part of the Amazon Rainforest, situated in South America. The history of these farms date back to the 1700s and is where coffee is believed to be first cultivated in the Western Hemisphere. The coffee plants were from the famous Hortus Botanicus of Amsterdam and were transported by Dutch settlers. These plants were originally from Yemen, dating back to the 1500s where it’s believed coffee was first cultivated on a large scale in the world. Coffea Liberica was then cultivated in the same region in the mid 1800s. This ancient lineage may still be in our ancient Liberica coffee bean today and why it’s the best and the world’s rarest coffee.
Rare Green Bean
The first coffee cultivated in this region was believed to be the original coffee of the world, the Typica Arabica from Yemen. In the mid 1800s the now rare Liberica plants were cultivated in this region due to the Coffee Rust Disease. The Liberica variety of coffee is the rarest in the world. Liberica can only be scarcely found in the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia, but is of a different and vastly inferior variety. Our Rainforest Liberica is an entirely different and superior species. This highly sought after coffee is the best tasting and most premium coffee in the world.
Collaboration
The team has collaborated with a renowned coffee scientist from the World Coffee Research and RD2 Vision from France to ensure the development of the most premium cup of coffee. The United States Department of Agriculture has confirmed that our coffee beans are from the rare Liberica variety trough DNA testing. We stand by our claims that Liberica Rainforest Coffee is the best and the world’s rarest coffee.
Processing
Our coffee is 100% natural, sustainable and socially responsible. Our unique cherries are hand picked and inspected. Cherries are processed using the “Wet Process” to produce ultra premium green beans. The specialty green beans are examined and only the highest quality beans are roasted. Coffee beans are inspected by the Ministry of Agriculture in its country of origin for approval for exportation.
Transport
Coffee beans are stored in GrainPro post harvest bags that have been engineered to maintain the quality of agricultural commodities.
Scientific Roasting
We use a scientific and proprietary approach in our roasting process to produce the best coffee. Our coffee is never bitter as our expert roasters limit the levels of the chlorogenic acid lactone and phenylindanes, both of which are antioxidants found in roasted coffee that is the cause of a bitter taste in coffee. This is has been identified by chemists in the United States and Germany with the American Chemical Society being the source of these findings.
Delivery
After the roasting process is complete the rare Liberica coffee beans are sent out to our clients within 24 hours so they can quickly enjoy the world’s rarest coffee.
